A Legacy of Impact

CLOSING THE CHAPTER

One final meeting on March 27th, 2025.

This coming meeting will be our final meeting to celebrate and donate all of our remaining funds to one last deserving charity.

Celebrate the impact.

Over the last four years, we have accomplished what we set out to do and we are very proud of all that we have achieved as a group.

While it is bittersweet to bring this chapter to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible impact we’ve made together. Over the years, we’ve supported countless people in need, empowered our community, and created lasting change.

None of this would have been possible without your unwavering dedication, passion, and support and most importantly our board and sponsors.

Q&A

We know this closing may bring questions, so we’ve prepared a Q&A to help. If you don’t find the answers you need, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

  • 100 Women of the Hill Country has been driven by passionate volunteers. After almost 4 years of tireless giving, our board has made the difficult decision to bring the chapter to a close.

When we started, we were simply driven by a desire to give back—we had no roadmap, and along the way, we learned a lot. Looking back, there are things we would have structured differently, but at this stage, untangling them would require significant effort and costs, including legal and financial complexities.

  • At our final meeting, we’ll be giving away many of the remaining items as keepsakes for our members. Some larger items may be available for purchase, with proceeds going toward our final donation. Anything left over will be repurposed, donated, or responsibly disposed of.

  • All remaining funds will be donated as part of our final round of giving on March 27th, 2025. Every dollar will go directly to local charities, just as intended.

  • Yes, if you were charged a registration fee after January 1, 2025, those funds will be donated to the chosen charity at the final meeting. If you’d prefer a partial refund, please contact us at impact@100womenhc.org by March 14th, 2025.

  • We will retain a small portion to cover taxes. All remaining funds will be donated to our final selected charity, ensuring that every dollar goes toward making a meaningful impact in our community.

  • Our final gathering will be held on March 27th, 2025 at The Kendall. We hope to see you there to celebrate everything we’ve accomplished together!

  • We would love to present the 100 Hearts Award at our final meeting. This award ensures that the two other presenting charities, alongside the one chosen by our members, will also receive a donation. If you're interested in sponsoring this award and helping us make sure all three charities benefit, we are still looking for a sponsor. Please reach out if you'd like to get involved!

  • For our last round of giving, we are proud to be supporting Morgan’s Camp, Frontline Healing Foundation, and The Bloom School as our three presenting charities. At the final meeting, members will vote, and one will be chosen to receive our final donation. Join us to help decide and see the impact your contributions will make!

  • Many of the charities we’ve supported would love continued involvement! We encourage you to reach out to them directly or find new ways to give locally.

While the website is still live, we will leave our Previous Recipients page up so you can easily refer to past charities and find information on how to support them moving forward.

  • If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out! You can contact us via email at impact@100womenhc.org, and we’ll do our best to assist you.
