Requirements for Nomination

We consider applications from various 501c3 charities. If your organization would like to apply, please carefully and thoroughly read our requirements.

 

REGARDING GRANT FUNDS RECIEVED

1.  The organization shall not request funding for any of the following purposes:

A. Endowment funding 

B. Debt reduction or operational costs and/or deficits 

C. Grants to individuals

D. Partisan, legislative, or political activity 

E. Grants that benefit any causes that do not have human recipients such as pet rescues or shelters

F. Labor or fraternal organization, athletic or social club

2.  Funds must be used within the seven counties that 100 Women of the Hill Country serves—Kendall, Bandera, Bexar, Gillespie, Comal, Blanco and Kerr.

3.  All funds must be in use either partially or in full within 3 months of the award receipt.

4.  The organization will not require belief in or participation in activities of a particular faith, denomination, or religion to benefit from or receive services to benefit from the funds.

5.  The board of 100 Women of the Hill Country reserves the right at any time to deny any application submitted.

REGARDING APPLICATION TIMELINES, MEMBER SOLICITATION & DISCLOSURES

  1. If organization is chosen as the grant recipient, the organization will be required to wait 24 months before re-applying for funds again.

  2. If organization is not chosen as the grant recipient, the organization will be required to wait 12 months before re-applying for funds again.

  3. ANY solicitation of members is strictly prohibited.

  4. Presentation given must be done so by an organizational representative and follow all guidelines listed on Charitable Presentation Guidelines

REQUIREMENTS FOR GRANT RECIPIENTS

  1. Applicant agrees to a site visit if requested by the leadership team.

  2. Applicant agrees to be photographed and included in all media representations that 100 Women of the Hill Country may participate in.

  3. Applicant agrees to be present at the subsequent meeting to provide an update on the use of the donated funds and impact to the community.

  4. Agrees and understands that although the goal is $10,000 and the leadership team will work very hard to deliver the full amount of the goal, due to numerous different reasons the full award may be less or more depending on circumstances beyond the boards control.
